RGL40 - ROTACON GREAT LEVELLER

Originally designed for levelling operations where traditionally land planes would be used and for use to finish after laser levelling, the RGL40 is now also used as a cultivation tool to prepare fine and firm seed beds.

In minimum till and broad acre farming uses include;
        - breaking and shattering dry grasses for re seeding,
        - rubbing in grass seeds and sub clovers seeds
        - and rubbing down stubble to initiate decomposition.
        - restoring irrigation bays without the need to work or re-laser
        - removing pugging damage from livestock in annual pastures without cultivation.

The Rotacn RGL40 is constructed around the main pipe which is very rigid to maintain straightness of the cutting edge. It can be used supported by the working wheels or supported by the rubbing edge under the main pipe 200mm behind the cutting edge or a combination of both. The machine action and working depth are accurately and easily controlled using the tractors plough arms. A further adjustment is provided by an adjustable link from the pipe to the draw arm.

The extremely rigid hitch ensures stable operation even on hard rough surfaces. "In a few seconds, without leaving the cab, the operator can return the machine from its 40ft working width to its 8 ft transport width and back ".

The wheels can be hydraullically lowered (raising the machine) to give extra ground clearance to clear rice banks or to dump excess material. This also makes the machine suitable for draw bar tractors.
